Biography

Béatrice Cols is a celebrated Belgian sculptor whose bronze works poetically and delicately capture the magic of childhood. With a background in fine arts and over a decade of experience as an advertising graphic designer in Brussels, she made the bold decision in 1987 to fully dedicate herself to her artistic path.

Her journey began with oil painting, as she explored light, color, and movement. But it was sculpture — particularly bronze — that became her true language of expression. Through her sensitive and elegant approach, she brings to life fleeting, joyful moments: a child’s laughter, a musical note, the innocence of a game. Each sculpture is both intimate and universal, offering a tender tribute to life, birth, and human connection.

Béatrice Cols’ art resonates with a wide audience and has earned her national recognition. Several Belgian cities have integrated her bronze sculptures into public spaces, making her poetic vision part of everyday life and enriching the urban landscape with accessible, emotionally evocative works.

Today, Béatrice divides her time between Belgium and the South of France, continuing her artistic journey with the same curiosity and grace. Whether inspired by a melody, a movement, or a memory, her work invites us to pause and reconnect with the beauty of simple things.
