FR : Avec la série Et il y eut l'écriture, Jean-Pierre Baldini relie la sculpture au mot écrit. Dans ce sixième opus, un panneau ajouré de lettres manuscrites entrelacées se dresse comme une page en suspension, projetant son ombre dentelée, tandis qu'une sphère bleutée repose à sa base. L'écriture devient matière, lumière et mouvement.

EN : With the And There Was Writing series, Jean-Pierre Baldini connects sculpture with the written word. In this sixth piece, an openwork panel of interlaced handwritten letters stands like a floating page, casting its lacy shadow, while a bluish sphere rests at its base. Writing becomes matter, light and movement.

"Et il y eut l'écriture.." is the latest series of Baldini. He started to work on it in 2021 and delivered the masterpiece in 2022.
