Bronze à patine brune et patine pierre, 35 x 51 x 21 cm (13 3/4 x 20 1/8 x 8 1/4 in), 2021. Édition limitée à 8 exemplaires + 4 épreuves d'artiste. Une sculpture touchante, aux patines splendides.
EN : A woman in brown patina sits, dignified and serene, at the edge of a stone wall broken in two, a few fragments fallen at her feet. From the Fracture series, this work by Jean-Pierre Baldini bears witness to courage and hope: standing tall after one of life's fractures, a loss, a separation or a distance, without being defined by it, and looking at life as it keeps blossoming.
Bronze with brown and stone patina, 35 x 51 x 21 cm (13 3/4 x 20 1/8 x 8 1/4 in), 2021. Limited edition of 8 + 4 artist's proofs. A moving sculpture with splendid patinas.
Provenance
In the series of "FRACTURE", Baldini took a close look at a subject he is very fond of: the balance. As he likes to make connections, ... he linked it to the concept of freedom. Always with a very sensual and graceful touch, the artist takes us on a contemporary exploration of our freedoms and their limits. He produced this collection between 2019 and 2020, ... quite a pivotal period in relation to these two themes!Expositions
