The elegant upward movement of the trunk creates a light and airy composition, reinforcing the sense of dialogue between the two animals. This delicate interaction transforms the sculpture into a quiet narrative moment, characteristic of the artist’s sensitive approach to contemporary animal sculpture.
Finished with a refined slate-grey patina that enhances the richly textured surface of the elephant’s skin, the piece is particularly well suited for both interior display and garden settings, where light naturally reveals the depth of its modelling.
Cast at the renowned Harzé Art Foundry, several editions of Éléphant au jardin are already installed in private gardens, including two in the United States, confirming its strong presence as a contemporary outdoor sculpture for collectors.
