EN : With Petit tiens bon ! (Little Hold On!), created in 2024, Sophie Verger reinterprets her bronze Tiens bon in a small format. Clinging to the back of an elephant striding forward, a child holds on with all his might, as if determined not to be left behind, in a touching image of trust and closeness.
For the artist, changing scale means reinterpreting the work. This small bronze sculpture (15 x 26 x 10 cm) with its light, textured patina sits on a shelf, a desk or a bedside table.
