EN : With Bal masqué (Masked Ball), created in 2019, Lieven d’Haese draws us into a whimsical game. Two figures wearing hare masks play leapfrog: one leans forward to offer support while the other leaps over him with gusto.
Somewhere between carnival and childhood memory, this humorous bronze sculpture (43 x 25 x 27 cm) invites a journey into the artist’s imagination. It brings a joyful, quirky note to a living room, a study or a library.
