FR : Bras grands ouverts, sur la pointe des pieds, une petite baigneuse tient en équilibre sur une sphère blanche, légère comme une danseuse. Charles Serruya dessine ici la silhouette d'un fil d'acier très fin, presque invisible : La Petite Baigneuse semble flotter dans l'air, et son ombre devient une seconde œuvre sur le mur.
Acier 1,2 mm, 40 x 35 cm (15 3/4 x 13 3/4 in), 2022. Pièce unique. Un petit format poétique et aérien, idéal pour un intérieur.
EN : Arms wide open and on tiptoe, a little bather balances on a white sphere, as light as a dancer. Charles Serruya draws the silhouette in a very fine, almost invisible steel wire: La Petite Baigneuse (The Little Bather) seems to float in the air, and her shadow becomes a second work on the wall.
