EN :Schockwave by Rébécca de Cachard is a powerful and vibrant lyrical abstract composition in which colour seems to burst from a deep black background.

Electric blues, turquoise, orange, yellow, white and touches of violet intersect through a dense rhythm of splashes and dripping. The contrast with the dark ground intensifies the sense of energy, like a wave travelling across the canvas and expanding into the surrounding space.

With its large square format of 140 × 140 cm, Schockwave has a strong and distinctly contemporary presence. Dynamic and luminous despite its dark background, it immediately gives structure and impact to an interior.
