FR : Inspiré par les quatre éléments, Jean-Pierre Baldini consacre Terre IV à la terre, celle sur laquelle nous vivons. Une haute colonne faite de strates superposées s'élève en torsade, portant à son sommet deux petites figures. La terre y incarne la stabilité, la sécurité et l'enracinement : c'est elle qui nous nourrit et sur elle que nous bâtissons.
Bronze à patine naturelle, 182 x 84 x 31 cm (71 5/8 x 33 1/8 x 12 1/4 in). Édition limitée à 8 exemplaires + 4 épreuves d'artiste. Une pièce monumentale, idéale pour un grand intérieur ou un jardin.
EN : Inspired by the four elements, Jean-Pierre Baldini dedicates Terre IV (Earth IV) to the earth we live on. A tall column of stacked strata rises in a twist, carrying two small figures at its summit. Here the earth embodies stability, security and grounding: it feeds us and it is on it that we build.
