EN : With L’Escargot (Small) (The Snail), created in 2019, Lieven d’Haese imagines a half-human, half-snail creature with small antennae on its head, emerging from its shell. One hand shading its eyes, the other on its hip, it scans the horizon with curiosity, ready to set off and discover the world at its own pace.
Set on a grey stone pedestal (44 x 14 x 19 cm), this humorous small-format version fits easily on a console, a bookcase or a desk.
