Dans La Migratrice, René Julien (1937-2016) compose une ode à l'amour, à l'élévation et au destin partagé, dans un esprit onirique qui évoque Chagall : la pesanteur s'efface devant l'émotion. L'homme protège et porte, la femme aspire à la liberté ; ensemble, ils font de l'amour une force qui permet l'envol.
Bronze, 61 x 17 x 12 cm (24 1/8 x 6 3/4 x 4 3/4 in), 2011. Édition limitée à 8 exemplaires + 4 épreuves d'artiste ; dernière édition, les moules n'existant plus. Œuvre disponible immédiatement.
EN : A man grounded on the earth lifts a woman who soars skyward, reaching towards a bird about to take flight. In The Migratory, René Julien (1937-2016) composes an ode to love, elevation and shared destiny, in a dreamlike spirit reminiscent of Chagall: gravity gives way to emotion. The man protects and carries, the woman aspires to freedom; together they make love a force that makes flight possible.
