En pleine course, la robe soulevée par le vent, un personnage serre contre lui une grande pièce de puzzle qu’il vient de trouver : métaphore universelle de l’élément manquant que l’on cherche tout au long de sa vie.
Présentée sur un socle en fer et pierre grise (75 x 43 x 40 cm seule, 165 cm de haut avec le socle), cette grande sculpture en bronze pleine d’élan s’impose dans un intérieur spacieux, un hall ou un jardin.
EN : With The Missing Link, created in 2019, Lieven d’Haese captures a powerful moment of movement and discovery. Mid-run, his dress lifted by the wind, a figure holds close a large jigsaw puzzle piece he has just found: a universal metaphor for the missing element we search for throughout our lives.
Presented on an iron and grey stone socle (75 x 43 x 40 cm alone, 165 cm high with the socle), this large, dynamic bronze sculpture makes a statement in a spacious interior, an entrance hall or a garden.
