Acier 6 mm, 253 x 70 cm (99 5/8 x 27 1/2 in), 2020.
EN : Inspired by Greek mythology, this Minotaur standing over 2.5 metres tall embodies power and wisdom. Charles Serruya draws it in a continuous steel wire: the half-man, half-bull bust stands on a column and lets the sea, the sky or the walls of a gallery show through it. A monumental yet light work, where line becomes presence.
6 mm steel, 253 x 70 cm (99 5/8 x 27 1/2 in), 2020. Unique piece. A spectacular sculpture for a garden, a seaside terrace or a large space.
