Bronze à patine brune, 33 x 40 x 21 cm (13 x 15 3/4 x 8 1/4 in). Exemplaire n°4/8, édition limitée à 8 exemplaires + 4 épreuves d'artiste ; dernière édition, les moules n'existant plus. Une sculpture romantique et pleine d'élan.
EN : A man leans towards a young woman in an irresistible impulse, his body almost horizontal and one leg raised, to whisper his confession in her ear. René Julien (1937-2016), the Belgian sculptor of tenderness and couples, captures with The Confession the fragile moment when everything tips over, with a sense of movement and balance all his own.
Brown patina bronze, 33 x 40 x 21 cm (13 x 15 3/4 x 8 1/4 in). Edition 4/8, limited edition of 8 + 4 artist's proofs; last edition, as the moulds no longer exist. A romantic sculpture full of momentum.
