FR : D'un bond, une femme se jette au cou de l'homme qu'elle retrouve, les jambes repliées dans un élan de joie, tandis qu'il la soulève et la serre contre lui. Avec Le Revenir, René Julien (1937-2016) immortalise la force des retrouvailles dans une œuvre grandeur nature de deux mètres, exposée notamment au Château des Marres à Ramatuelle lors de l'exposition monumentale de 2021.
Bronze, 200 x 160 x 110 cm (78 3/4 x 63 x 43 1/4 in), 2009. Exemplaire n°5/8 ; dernière édition, les moules n'existant plus. Œuvre disponible sur commande.
EN : With a leap, a woman throws herself into the arms of the man she is reunited with, legs folded in a burst of joy, as he lifts her and holds her close. With Come Back, René Julien (1937-2016) immortalises the power of reunion in a two-metre life-size work, shown notably at the Château des Marres in Ramatuelle during the 2021 monumental exhibition.
