FR : Avec Les Petits Joueurs de billes, créé en 2025, Béatrice Cols fait revivre un jeu de cour de récréation intemporel. Deux garçons accroupis visent leurs billes avec concentration, tandis qu’un troisième, penché en avant, les mains sur les genoux et le cartable à ses pieds, suit la partie avec attention.
Composé de trois sculptures en bronze de 17, 19 et 31 cm de haut, ce trio se dispose librement sur une table basse, une console ou une étagère pour recréer la scène. Une œuvre pleine de nostalgie et de tendresse.
EN : With Les Petits Joueurs de billes (The Little Marble Players), created in 2025, Béatrice Cols brings a timeless playground game back to life. Two crouching boys take careful aim with their marbles, while a third, leaning forward with his hands on his knees and his school bag at his feet, watches the game closely.
Made up of three bronze sculptures measuring 17, 19 and 31 cm in height, this trio can be freely arranged on a coffee table, a console or a shelf to recreate the scene. A work full of nostalgia and tenderness.
