EN : A long, horizontal work, Elastic World combines beauty of form, balance and the blade technique so characteristic of Isabel Miramontes, with humour, energy and strength.
The figure pulls itself out of a ground that tries to hold it back, and the form stretches in the sculptor’s hands. The artist offers her ironic vision of today’s world: her character resists.
Bronze, 80 cm long, limited edition of 8 plus 4 artist’s proofs.
