School Is Over is a contemporary bronze sculpture by Belgian artist Béatrice Cols, depicting a young girl walking forward, carrying her schoolbag with a quiet sense of determination. Captured in a subtle moment of transition, the figure embodies the end of childhood routines and the promise of freedom, movement and inner growth.

With her characteristic sensitivity to posture and gesture, Béatrice Cols gives form to the poetry of everyday life. The elongated silhouette, natural stance and softly worked surface reveal a deep attention to materiality and emotional presence. The sculpture resonates with collectors drawn to figurative contemporary art that evokes memory, innocence and the passage of time.

Conceived in bronze, School Is Over is a timeless work that finds its place equally in private collections, architectural interiors or curated contemporary art environments. Its narrative strength and delicate balance between realism and emotion make it a compelling piece for collectors seeking meaningful and enduring artworks.
