As in a tango, the two bodies have reached such a level of agreement that they become one and shiver with intoxication.
Isabel Miramontes gives each of her sculptures a soul of his own. Each figure carries within it a message delivered by a movement, a posture, an expression. To achieve this near perfection, Isabel Miramontes shapes the material, lightens it, softens it, bares it, works the curves until reaching this subtle and powerful balance.
