Bord de mer is a poetic and contemplative bronze sculpture that captures the quiet dialogue between the human figure and the natural elements. The elongated silhouette, composed of layered, flowing planes, evokes the sensation of wind, salt air, and movement along the shoreline. The figure seems to advance gently, carried by an invisible maritime breeze.


Characteristic of Miramontes’ sculptural language, the work combines strength and delicacy, structure and lightness. The patinated bronze enhances the play of light across the surface, reinforcing the impression of rhythm and fluid motion. Conceived as a collectible contemporary sculpture, Bord de mer resonates deeply with collectors drawn to figurative works that embody emotion, balance, and timeless elegance.
