These two playing Fu Dogs (foo dogs / lion dogs) are skillfully modeled and sculpted on the stone and has good detailing.
It was originally part of a wall from Yuan Dynasty of China, between 13th to 14th century.

This pair of holy animals of guadians are all in light grey color. They're sculpted in Chinese classic style.
They are lively playing with a ball, and almost jumping high in the sky.

This pair of stone sculpture is full of charm and joy, and the details are portrayed to the smallest detail, which truly reflects the peak of sculpture art in the Yuan Dynasty.

The condition is excellent.

这一对元代的福狮石雕,象征幸福和快乐。
他们像中国古代典型的小狮子。
在云中跳跃,玩球。
这对石狮子石雕整体生动可爱,细节刻画入微,真实反映了元代时期雕塑艺术的高峰。

Provenance

Fu Dogs are also sometimes acknowledged by their innate qualities or abilities: and an auspicious lion is Ruishi, a fortuitous lion is Fushi, while the Lion of Buddha is Foshi.

The concept, which originated and became popular in Chinese Buddhism, features a pair of highly stylized lions —often one male with a ball which represents the material elements and one female with a cub—which represents the element of spirit , were thought to protect the building from harmful spiritual influences and harmful people that might be a threat. Used in imperial Chinese palaces and tombs, the lions subsequently spread to other parts of Asia.
